How we chose our Plungers
Each week our Athlete Leadership Council, made up of 21 Special Olympics Maryland athletes is presented with 4 Virtual Plunge video submissions. All four video submissions have been submitted through social media, by tagging @PlungeMD with their video post or sending it to our team directly. After watching and deliberating, the Athlete Leadership Council selects 2 of the video submissions to be voted on by the general public. The Athlete Leadership Council is one of many ways that our Special Olympics Maryland athletes #LeadTheWay in our communities.
