Apply to be a food vendor at the MSP Polar Bear Plunge!

Payment: Please fill out the Vendor Space form and a member of our Plunge team will be in contact shortly to discuss your payment.


Health Permits: All food vendors are required to obtain Anne Arundel County Health permits (410-222-7363), have them clearly displayed at the event, and submit a copy to SOMD prior to the event.


Notes: Bring your own water if it is needed. Bring your own power source if needed.


Certificate of Insurance: A certificate of insurance naming Special Olympics Maryland AND Special Olympics Inc. as additional insureds is required. Click here for coverage requirements and a sample COI. Please submit all COI's to Claire Huston at chuston@somd.org.

Please Note: Fries and beverages are non-exclusive items. A deposit of $250 is required from all food vendors in addition to vendor fee. Deposit must be paid with a separate check and will be shredded approximately 10 days after the event if your vendor space is properly cleaned (i.e. there are no trash or grease marks).
I agree to the Exhibitor Terms & Conditions
By signing below I certify that I am a duly authorized representative of this Exhibitor and that as such I understand and agree on behalf of the Exhibitor to the following: The assigned booth must be staffed at all times. In the event the Exhibitor does not occupy vendor space, show management is authorized to occupy the space in any manner it sees fit and without rebate or reimbursement to Exhibitor. I/Exhibitor give my permission for photographs taken at the event in which my image appears, to be used for promotional and/or advertising purposes by Special Olympics Maryland, Inc., without compensation to Exhibitor. I/Exhibitor agree to release Special Olympics Maryland, Inc. from all claims and liability relating to the use of my name, likeness, photograph, or statement. I/Exhibitor shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Special Olympics Maryland, Special Olympics, Inc., and is U.S. Programs, their respective officers, employees, and agents, any sponsors, advertisers, and , if applicable, owners and lessors on which this activity takes place, all considered Releasees, harmless from and against any and all liability, loss, expense, including reasonable attorney’s fees and claims for injury or damages arising out of the activities, services, or products provided by or through Exhibitor during the activity but only in proportion to and to the extent such liability, loss, expense, attorney’s fees and claims for injury or damages are caused by or result from the negligent or intentional acts or omissions (including product sales and distribution) of me/the Exhibitor, my/its officers, agents or employees. I/Exhibitor fully accepts and assumes all risks and all responsibility for losses, costs and damages that incurred in connection with participation. I/Exhibitor understands that it is releasing all claims, demands, losses or damages or any kind, sustained by me/Exhibitor, whether caused in whole or part by the negligence of Releasees or otherwise, including negligent rescue operations. I/ Exhibitor further agrees that if, despite this release, waiver of liability and assumption of risk, anyone makes a claim against the Releasees on behalf of Exhibitor, Exhibitor will indemnify, save and hold harmless each of the Releasees from any loss, liability, damage or cost which may result from such claim. NO REFUNDS WILL BE PROVIDED FOR EVENT CANCELLATION DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER OR ACTS OF GOD.
