Parking Passes
Parking passes for the 2023 MSP Polar Bear Plunge at Sandy Point State Park are only required for Saturday, February 4th. If you are plunging with your team on Thursday, February 2nd or Friday, February 3rd you do not need to purchase a parking pass.

I Purchased Online Parking Passes
If you purchased a Parking Pass online, your Parking Pass will be mailed to you. Plunge Parking Passes are in the mail as of 1/18/23, so please be on the lookout for you Parking Pass in your mailbox soon!
I Missed out on online parking sales
If you missed out on the online Parking Pass sales, you still have the option to purchase a Parking Pass at Packet Pickup or on-site, but there is no guarantee on how long passes will last, so the earlier the better! See directions below!
Where to buy your Plunge Parking Pass on-site
Polar Express Shuttle
A free Polar Express Shuttle System will be available and we encourage all Plungers and spectators to use this fast, efficient mode of transportation to and from the Park. Handicapped Accessible buses are available as part of the free Polar Express Shuttle System to and from Sandy Point, so accommodations are available to all participants and spectators, both on-site and to and from our satellite lots. Cool Schools Plungers!
We want to make sure your Cool School isn’t left behind. Special Olympics Maryland is going the mile to cover the cost of any school team traveling together on a bus from their school!
